The Chinese Academy of Sciences, as the host for the 5th AASA Assembly will cover the local costs including food and accommodation for all participants, as well as International airfare for the AASA board members and one representative of other member Academies of AASA.

Venue

Furama Nanshan Gardon Hotel is located near the center of the city, which adjoins to Botanical Garden in the south and Mingzhe Lake in the North. The hotel is facilitated with distinctive courtyard, luxurious rooms and famous for its experienced service of international conference.

The 5th General Assembly of the Association of Academies of Sciences in Asia 

(AASA) will be held September 27-30, 2004 at the Furama Nanshan Garden Hotel, in Dalian, China. The assembly continues the tradition set by four previous meetings.

Response

        An Symposium on Renewable Energy Utilization will be held in parallel to the assembly.

         The Renewable Energy Utilization Symposium consists of 12 keynote lectures, which focus on macro-research in renewable energy utilization, such as respective national status and policies.
